We're taking our team out on the road to the Business Show 2008 at the Bolton on October 23rd and the Business Startup show at London's Olympia on the 28th and29th of November. This a very exciting time for the Mi team and the first time we have gone out to meet our members. Anyone who would like to visit either show can contact us on 0845 468 5000, both shows are free for visitors and tickets can be obtained from the show's web sites.

To celebrate the launch of Raw Entrepreneur magazine, Million Impossible will also be offering visitors to both shows the chance to win 12 months advertising in the magazine, online business networking and on the Mi associated web sites worth over £25,000

Business Show 2008 Investor's Chest

Unlock the Investors Chest by pitching your idea to a panel of Entrepreneurs headed up by I-Teddy's Imran Hakim. Imran has already been in the Dragon's Den himself to secure investment and is joined by investment specialist Ben Wray. Rachel Elnaugh will also be a special guest and advisor to the lucky 6 shortlisted.

Genuine investment will be offered to businesses that can impress the panel and unlock the investor's chest. Six entrepreneurs will be chosen to face the panel, each being given 30 minutes to pitch their business in the Innovation & Enterprise Zone.

Rachel Elnaugh created Red Letter Days at the age of 24 and saw the company grow to generate over &100 million pounds over the next 16 years. Rachel won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002 and was short listed for the Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the year in 2001 and the Growing Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2002.

Early 2005 saw Rachel appear as one of the original Dragons in the BBC's BAFTA nominated business show – Dragon's Den. Red Letter Days crashed in 2005 following the ill advised expansion of the business 3 years earlier. Rachel moved away from the media spotlight and has been working within the small business sector helping entrepreneurs inspiring and motivating them to achieve their goals.

Imran will be leading the panel on the Innovation & Enterprise area sponsored by Bolton University. Bolton based multi millionaire and founder of award winning I–Teddy, Imran, will speak about how a loan of £2000 at the age of 15 was turned into millions and what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

He was judged Young Entrepreneur of the Year locally in 2006 for Mikah Eyewear which is his Optometry business while he gained the Technology, Design and Innovation Award in 2007 for the newly developed I–Teddy.

Business Startup Show

Startup 2008 at London's Olympia

The Business Startup show 2008 will be held at London's Olympia and is the place to visit for anyone who wants start a business or expand their existing business. The show runs on the 28th and 29th of November and you can visit the Mi team at stand 245.

There is something for everyone with over 200 exhibitors and this year's speakers include James Caan, Caprice and David Gold.

Levi Roots – The Dragon Slayer who features in Raw Entrepreneur edition 2 ndash; will also share his experiences after securing investment on BBC's Dragon's Den and Helene Speight from this year's Apprentice programme will talk about women in business and the challenges they face.
