Business decline, failed contracts, bad debts and negative cash flow are issues that most businesses will face at some stage during their life.

These problems occur infrequently, most managers do not therefore have the necessary experience or specialist knowledge to successfully steer their company back into health.

The Business Rescue Group commenced trading over 25 years ago with the aim of offering specialist help to any business facing times of crisis, usually, but not always Cash Flow related. Today under the "Business Renew" banner those aims continue as we fill the professional support void between financial pressure and insolvency.

Initially located in the North West we now operate a local service, Business Renew (SE). It has offices in Braintree (Essex) and London Piccadilly, with its own team of specialists supported, if required, from head office. We are more than capable of providing a full level of service to small, medium and large companies.

Needless to say in the 25 years of trade we have encountered a wide variety of businesses and market sectors and a whole range of differing problems. We have evolved our services and range of solutions to not only address the immediate business crisie but also to provide on-going support during the crucial recovery period once the immediate crisis has been eased by actioning one of our recommended business recovery programmes.

Business Renew is a specialist service provider dedicated to help you recover your business from threat of failure from whatever source. We can immediately step in to relieve creditor pressure, negotiate on Trade, VAT, PAYE and Tax Debt along with most other problems.

We are not insolvency practitioners or even accountants. We are a team of business professionals who are interested in you and your business first and foremost; most of our consultants have operated their own highly successful businesses or been part of the management team of large multinational organisations.

We understand that for most businesses in crisis time is of the essence. Once you have engaged us to help you we will take immediate action in bringing the situation under control while the actual problems are investigated and practical solutions defined.

Our business analysis tool is the Business Medical^TM which looks at every aspect of your business and makes sensible, achievable recommendations for change to overcome the problems faced by your business.

On so many occasions our prospective clients believe that the solution to their problems is to just borrow or invest more money. In many if not all cases this is putting good money after bad. Simply putting more money in (even if you can raise it) when troubles loom only puts off the day of reckoning, it very rarely prevents it. Questions need to be asked about the business as to how the problems came about, have these problems now been fixed or will they reoccur? When will the market recover? Will it recover? How do I make the cash last until then? Can I satisfy all my creditors or do I still leave myself open to attack.

It is also important to take an honest look at the business and its viability in its current format. Is there an underlying viable business or not, if so how should it be restructured to give sustainable returns?

These are all questions that are asked, along with many more, about your business within the Business Medical^TM. We then give you our recommendations as to how you can address the problems and recover you business.

These recommendations are discussed directly with the client during the presentation of the report. Any discussions are completely confidential and the report remains the property of the client to use as he/she feels fit.

Once you have decided to act upon some or all of our recommendations we then work with you to renew your business through our mentoring programme that helps you to implement the recommendations.

We will work with you for as long as at it takes to implement the recovery strategy and longer if you wish.

Once the business problems have been sorted out there may then be a need for finance. We are able to help you find many types of finance through relationships that we have built up over the years. Asset finance, factoring, Invoice discounting, Bank financing and assistance to win grants or the new Government Enterprise Initiative are all areas that we have experience in.

We also have a portfolio of private investors who are looking for opportunities to invest in restructured companies with growth potential. Some of these investors have been with us for many years and invested in a number of companies that we have been involved in. We may not get it right every time but the fact that we continue to get these high wealth individuals support must be a reflection on our abilities.

We are happy to take your enquiry over the phone, where we will ask you for some basic information to help us to understand your business and the extent / type of problem(s) that you are facing. We will then ask one of our consultants to contact you, usually to arrange a preliminary meeting or conference call. We give you our time free of charge for this meeting but may ask that you contribute to our travelling expenses.
